The policies from your enrollment package are included below. Please read each section before agreeing.

Rates & payment policy

Regular rate: $280 for eight individual 60-minute sessions.
Introductory first month: $240.
Lessons take place twice per week on two fixed days and times agreed with the parent.
Payment is made by Interac e-Transfer no later than 48 hours before the first lesson of the month.
An invoice is emailed before payment and a receipt is emailed after payment is received.
A place in the schedule is confirmed only after payment is received, unless another arrangement is agreed in writing.
Lessons may be suspended while an overdue account is being resolved. Fees for lessons already delivered are non-refundable.

Cancellation, absence & rescheduling policy

Please cancel by email at least 24 hours before the lesson.
With sufficient notice, a make-up lesson may be offered based on the teacher’s availability.
A cancellation with less than 24 hours’ notice, or an absence without notice, may be charged as a completed lesson.
For sudden illness or an exceptional situation, contact the teacher so rescheduling options can be considered.
If the teacher cancels, the lesson will be rescheduled or credited.
A student’s late arrival does not automatically extend the lesson. After 15 minutes without notice, the lesson may be treated as an absence.

Privacy policy

Kids Tutoring collects only the parent’s contact details and the information needed to enroll the child, plan and adapt lessons, communicate with the parent, follow learning progress, and manage billing.

Information is accessible only to people who need it to provide the service. It is not sold or shared with third parties for commercial purposes. Documents may be kept in protected digital storage and professional email.

Information is kept only as long as needed for the service and administrative or tax obligations. A parent may request access, correction, withdrawal of optional consent, or—where legally permitted—deletion of information that is no longer needed.

Photo, screenshot & recording choices

These permissions are optional and are separate from enrollment. Refusing them will not prevent your child from participating. No image or recording will be sold, and you may withdraw permission for future use in writing.

Your answers are private and visible only to the program administrator. We ask for your child’s first name only and do not request medical records.

Required agreements

Starting assessment

After the first meeting, the teacher will assess listening, speaking, vocabulary, reading, writing, confidence, and participation, then recommend the child’s first learning goals. Parents do not need to complete this part.
